World-class violoncell music in the church of Loftahammar 21.July 2018

The world-wide recognized violoncell artist Rohan de Saram played together with Swedish friends Saturday evening in the small mural church of Loftahammar, archipelago of Tjust.

He impressed in a duo-play with Magnus Andersson, modern and classical interpretor of guitarr music. They performed for the first time ever an arrangement of two folkloristic Albanian tunes arranged by Thomas Simaku. Very soft and melodious, not very unlike the Nordic athmosphere.

Even more impressive was his technique in Locatellis  Capriccio for violoncell. I have never seen such finger positions on the strings, I believe we found his left thumb at the top of the neck with pronated palm of his hand and with the small finger at the same time at the bottom of the neck! Amazing sound and clearness.

Sebastian Enhamre played Impromptu in F- major in the most enjoyable way. He really has started a great career.

Världsklassmusik i Loftahammar kyrka i kväll.
